Itinerary
Arrive at Kochi airport/railway station and transfer to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, visit Fort Kochi, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the seaside promenade. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kochi.
After breakfast, drive to Munnar (approx. 4–5 hours) through scenic routes with rubber, spice and tea plantations. En route, enjoy photo stops at waterfalls and viewpoints. Check in and relax. Evening free to explore Munnar town. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Full-day sightseeing in and around Munnar: visit tea gardens, Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Top Station (subject to weather). Enjoy the cool climate and panoramic valley views. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Drive to Thekkady, the gateway to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival, check in to the hotel/resort. Visit a spice plantation and local markets, and enjoy an optional evening boat ride on Periyar Lake (subject to availability). Overnight stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey/Alappuzha. Board your private houseboat by noon. Cruise through narrow canals, paddy fields and charming villages along the backwaters. All meals will be served on board. Enjoy a peaceful sunset and overnight stay on the houseboat.
After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive back to Kochi. Free time for shopping or last-minute sightseeing if time permits. Transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
This tour can be customized to 5 or 7 days with an added beach stay in Marari/Kovalam or an extra night in Munnar.
